Established in the summer of 2007, we design make and sell innovative greetings cards in central London. A fondness for both modernity and Victoriana has inspired two distinct characters in our collections, the simpler standardised statements and the intricate florid motifs linked by a flavour of the whimsical with quality as a priority.

Brainstorming and dreaming blended with research into vintage designs led us to where we are today. Conceived by hand, digitally produced and cut in our home with the help of a machine, our cards are in four classic colours, and reflect our interest in nuances of emotion and atmosphere.

With a tale to tell behind each card, we hope that in times to come The Plant will become a very personal anthology of our thoughts and ideas. We intend to delight and excite with the theatricity of our cards and so make our prices reasonable hoping that you enjoy them as much as we do.
